What You'll Do10

- 2Use a company-provided handheld device for navigation, delivery confirmation, and real-time communication with dispatch.
- 3Load and organize packages by route sequence each morning, maximizing van space and ensuring efficient delivery.
- 4Perform daily vehicle inspections, checking brakes, tires, lights, and cargo securement to maintain safety standards.
- 5Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations, following traffic laws and company safety policies.
- 6Provide exceptional customer service by greeting recipients politely, handling packages with care, and resolving issues on the spot.
- 7Communicate proactively with dispatch and leadership about route progress, delays, or safety concerns.
- 8Complete delivery logs and electronic records, documenting any incidents or package exceptions per company protocol.
- 9Adapt to changing route conditions, including weather, traffic, and customer availability, to maintain on-time performance.
- 10Mentor new team members during ride-alongs, sharing best practices for efficiency and safety.
Requirements8
- 121+ years old with a valid U.S. driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record.
- 2Authorized to work in the United States and pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- 3Ability to lift, carry, and push packages up to 50 lbs frequently and maneuver heavier items with proper equipment.
- 4Comfortable with repeated entry/exit of the delivery van, walking long distances, climbing stairs, and working in varied weather.
- 5Proficiency with smartphone apps and GPS navigation for route planning and delivery updates.
- 6Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members.
- 7Willingness to work weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule, with a 10-hour shift capacity.
