Delivery Assurance Specialist, Aerospace & Defense manufacturing
Overview
Lead manufacturing operations for a large value stream within a product line platform and drive on-site execution to meet MRP schedules and delivery targets. Collaborate with customer sites to recover schedules, manage WIP, and ensure timely program execution. Interface with internal and external stakeholders through PMRs and ensure customer satisfaction through robust line of balance actions. This role sits on-site in Phoenix and demands hands-on shop floor leadership.
What You'll Do5
- 1Lead the manufacturing operations for a large value stream to align with MRP schedule and manage WIP to prevent aging inventory
- 2Collaborate with customer sites to recover delivery schedules and drive project execution for scheduled recoveries
- 3Manage/support program projects such as reliability, in-service issues, and producibility improvements
- 4Provide detailed line of balance with robust actions on production hardware across the value stream
- 5Interface with internal and external customers and conduct PMRs to align on results and follow up with supply chain and VSLs
Requirements8
- 1A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of prior relevant experience or equivalent experience
- 2Prior experience in operations, manufacturing, and/or engineering
- 3SAP knowledge
- 4Production control concepts including WIP management, LOB, and TAKT
- 5Experience with lean manufacturing tools and concepts
- 6Prior Aerospace/Defense experience preferred
- 7Working experience with SAP-based ERP
- 8Certification in Program Management, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing preferred
Salary Insight
$70 - $78k per year
