Deli Clerk Part Time - BJ's Wholesale Club

You will slice, package, and sell deli products, including meats and cheeses, for a club serving thousands of Members daily. What You'll Do10
- 1Slice, package, and weigh deli meats and cheeses accurately using manual and power slicers.
- 2Assist Members with product selection, answer calls, and take special orders.
- 3Prepare and package party trays and special orders to meet Member needs.
- 4Receive and inspect deli shipments, ensuring product quality and freshness.
- 5Stock, rotate, and display deli items following food safety policies.
- 6Check for out-of-date products daily and apply salvage procedures.
- 7Operate and sanitize deli equipment, including rotisserie ovens and refrigerated cases.
- 8Maintain scale systems and price products correctly.
- 9Support other departments as needed and follow all club procedures.
- 10Deliver GOLD Member Standards by greeting, anticipating, and appreciating every Member.
Requirements9
- 16+ months experience in a deli department preferred.
- 2Prior experience operating manual and power slicers preferred.
- 3Knowledge of deli products preferred.
- 4At least 18 years of age.
- 5Ability to stand and move frequently on hard surfaces.
- 6Capability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds frequently, and heavier items with assistance.
- 7Willingness to work in temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers.
- 8Comfort with frequent exposure to cleaning agents.
- 9Commitment to punctuality and regular attendance.
