What You'll Do9
- 1Slice, package, and weigh deli meats and cheeses using manual and power slicers.
- 2Greet members and recommend deli items based on their needs.
- 3Answer member calls and take special orders for parties and trays.
- 4Receive and inspect deli shipments, checking for freshness and quality.
- 5Stock and rotate deli products, ensuring display cases are full and fresh.
- 6Operate deli equipment safely, including rotisserie ovens and refrigerated cases.
- 7Clean and sanitize deli surfaces and equipment throughout the shift.
- 8Verify scale systems are accurate for correct pricing and weights.
- 9Maintain club policies and support other departments as needed.
Requirements7
- 11+ year experience in a deli department preferred.
- 2Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
- 3Knowledge of deli products preferred.
- 4At least 18 years of age.
- 5Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- 6Comfortable working in cold environments from freezers and coolers.
- 7Able to stand and move for extended periods on hard surfaces.
