What You'll Do8
- 1File GNMA claims, including FHA, USDA, and VA loss mitigation claims, supplemental claims, and appeals within required deadlines.
- 2Manage assigned claims queues, monitoring milestones and deadlines to prevent delays and minimize risk.
- 3Review loan files to verify all applicable timeframes and compliance requirements are met before initiating default actions.
- 4Coordinate with mortgagors, attorneys, investors, insurers, and trustees to resolve claim-related issues and gather documentation.
- 5Utilize MSP, LoanSphere Claims, FHA Connection, Catalyst, LINC, and VALERI to process claims and maintain accurate records.
- 6Analyze default portfolio trends and performance metrics to identify variances, risks, and process improvement opportunities.
- 7Prepare and deliver default service reports, ensuring data integrity and adherence to investor, agency, and regulatory requirements.
- 8Stay updated on regulatory, investor, insurer, and state law changes impacting claim processing activities.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of experience filing GNMA claims, including FHA, USDA, and VA loss mitigation claims.
- 2Working knowledge of MSP, LoanSphere Claims, FHA Connection, Catalyst, LINC, and VALERI.
- 3Strong understanding of the mortgage default servicing lifecycle, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, loss mitigation, and eviction processes.
- 4Ability to interpret and navigate investor, insurer, and agency servicing guides for claim processing.
- 5Proven research and problem-solving skills to gather documentation and resolve issues within deadlines.
- 6Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to compliance with policies and regulations.
- 7Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- 8Excellent verbal and written communication skills for building effective partnerships.
