They coordinate discipline procedures, behavior management, and due process in line with district policies. What You'll Do13
- 1Confer with parents, faculty, staff, administration to address disciplinary concerns
- 2Process and manage student referrals related to discipline and attendance
- 3Implement and enforce district discipline policies consistently
- 4Support a safe, orderly, and disciplined school environment conducive to learning
- 5Respond to behavioral concerns and implement appropriate interventions
- 6Organize, administer, and support effective campus discipline systems
- 7Ensure disciplinary practices comply with state and district guidelines
- 8Communicate with students, parents, staff, and community about discipline expectations
- 9Support due process procedures for disciplinary actions
- 10Maintain and analyze discipline data to inform practices
- 11Refer students and families to school and community resources
- 12Support district vision through discipline practices
- 13Perform other duties as assigned by the principal
Requirements6
- 1Master's degree preferred with coursework in educational administration or leadership
- 2Valid Arizona teaching certificate
- 3Arizona administrative certification preferred or enrollment in certification program within 6 months of hire
- 4Minimum of three years of classroom teaching or related experience
- 5Ability to manage, monitor, and analyze discipline data and trends
- 6Strong collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders
