The Daytime Driver at S.P. Richards Company is responsible for the safe and timely delivery and retrieval of office products during scheduled day routes. What You'll Do8

  • 1Perform DOT-mandated pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle
  • 2Safely drive and deliver products on established day routes meeting scheduled times
  • 3Verify orders and maintain accurate Proof of Delivery using ELD and mobile technology
  • 4Safely transport and document hazardous materials in compliance with DOT regulations
  • 5Load/unload products using pallet jacks dollies or manual handling
  • 6Retrieve returns and complete necessary paperwork accurately
  • 7Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform light maintenance
  • 8Deliver professional courteous service and uphold company safety standards

Requirements10

  • 1Valid Class A CDL with active HAZMAT endorsement
  • 2Minimum one year of verifiable Class A CDL commercial driving experience within the past three years
  • 3No more than two MVR violations in the last three years
  • 4No DUI/DWI in the last five years
  • 5Reside within 60 miles of the distribution center
  • 6Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and move heavier loads with equipment
  • 7High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 8Professional communication skills in English required
  • 9Demonstrated stable work history preferred
  • 10Prior CDL Class A delivery experience and familiarity with HAZMAT documentation and routing systems
