Overview
HD Supply seeks a Delivery Driver Non CDL to operate company or rental vehicles and manage customer deliveries. The role involves maintaining vehicle records providing excellent customer service and ensuring safe operations. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Records.
What You'll Do11
- 1Deliver customer orders safely within a service area while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- 2Follow planned routes for timely deliveries and conduct pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations
- 3Load inventory into trucks and unload orders at customer sites using powered and non-powered equipment
- 4Provide professional customer service by being polite and addressing delivery issues promptly
- 5Review order manifests to confirm accuracy of customer orders and daily routes
- 6Maintain vehicle and customer order records according to company policies
- 7Contact customers for delivery status updates and report escalated issues to management
- 8Report moving violations and minor accidents to supervisors as required
- 9Perform tasks under general supervision with occasional judgment calls
- 10Exhibit physical stamina for walking standing lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment
- 11Travel occasionally overnight with limited frequency
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 21+ years operating material handling equipment
- 3No more than 2 minor accidents in the past three years
- 4No more than 2 moving violations in the past three years
- 5Wholesale distribution experience
- 6Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Records
- 7HS Diploma or GED preferred
- 8Specialized skills training or certification may be required
