What You'll Do15
- 1Proficiently install server and network equipment in data center environments ensuring meticulous organization
- 2Assemble various Server and Data Storage machines including motherboards processors memory drives fans cables and other components
- 3Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues proactively and efficiently
- 4Establish effective communication channels with team members for assistance and task coordination
- 5Demonstrate self-direction and the ability to independently drive tasks to completion
- 6Precisely tackle intricate tasks with diligence
- 7Be open to occasional travel including international destinations as required
- 8Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to integrate server and network equipment
- 9Execute routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and equipment replacement to maintain optimal data center performance
- 10Contribute to developing and improving standard operating procedures for data center operations
- 11Conduct data analysis and root cause analysis when required
- 12Assist in planning and executing data center expansion projects including the installation of new hardware and infrastructure
- 13Maintain detailed records of equipment installations repairs and upgrades
- 14Stay updated on the latest advancements in data center technology and propose innovative solutions for enhanced efficiency and reliability
- 15Cultivate a culture of safety reliability and quality within the data center team
Requirements13
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons of experience in data centers or Internet Service Providers
- 35+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 45+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 55+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 6Valid driver's license and capability to operate a personal vehicle
- 7Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- 8Prior understanding and familiarity with Linux
- 9Knowledge of emergency response/standby/call out activities and protocols with a background in HVAC or Electrical being preferred
- 10Proficiency in responding to common inquiries or complaints from clients co-workers and supervisors
- 11Experience laying out pulling dressing terminating fiber and copper communications cabling
- 12Desire and experience working in a fast-paced hands-on environment
- 13Understanding of data center infrastructure and/or experience in business operation
