Overview
CBRE Mechanical Technician maintains buildings industrial systems equipment through preventive maintenance repairs. Part of Engineering and Technical Services supports facility mechanical electrical systems. Provides ongoing preventive maintenance modifications energy management compliance inspections inventory management.
What You'll Do8
- 1Perform ongoing preventive maintenance on facility mechanical electrical and other installed building systems equipment
- 2Assist with modification of building equipment and systems
- 3Review assigned work orders and estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs
- 4Utilize available systems and track completion
- 5Support energy management by ensuring efficient operation of all systems
- 6Maintain inventory of parts tools and items needed to complete work orders
- 7Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- 8Solve straightforward problems using established procedures while exercising limited discretion
Requirements5
- 1High School Diploma GED or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience
- 2Physical ability to stoop stand walk climb stairs/ladders and lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more
- 3Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying work
- 4Communication skills to exchange straightforward information
- 5Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word Excel Outlook
