Data Analyst, Snowflake & SQL | Charlotte, NC
Overview
You will own data extraction, validation, and insight delivery for IPolarity LLC's business stakeholders. Work on-site in Charlotte, NC or St. Louis, MO, collaborating with technical and business teams. You will use Snowflake and Python to automate analyses and support data quality. This role requires an in-person customer interview, setting you apart as a client-facing analyst.
What You'll Do8
- 1Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document data requirements.
- 2Extract data using complex SQL queries, then validate and analyze for trends.
- 3Build ELT pipelines with Snowflake to transform and manage large datasets.
- 4Automate data quality checks and analysis using Python scripts.
- 5Design data models and warehouse schemas to support reporting needs.
- 6Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and business audiences.
- 7Debug data issues using root cause analysis and AWS services like S3 and Athena.
- 8Support data validation for ongoing projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Requirements9
- 13+ years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries.
- 22+ years working with Snowflake for data transformation and analysis.
- 32+ years using Python for data analysis and automation.
- 4Solid understanding of Data Engineering concepts: ETL/ELT, data pipelines, modeling, warehousing.
- 5Working knowledge of AWS services, particularly S3.
- 6Proven ability to gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.
- 7Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 8Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 9Willingness to attend an in-person customer L2 interview.
