Cycle Counter, Inventory Management & WMS
Overview
You will own inventory accuracy for Voyant Beauty's Chicago site, counting and auditing stock to keep order fulfillment on track. You will report to the warehouse supervisor and join a team of 15 operators and 3 leads who share safety as a core value. This role differs by giving you direct access to customer systems and the chance to influence inventory control improvements.
What You'll Do9
- 1Count inventory items on schedule and record stock levels in WMS with precision.
- 2Update WMS records and apply adjustments when counts differ from system data.
- 3Reconcile inventory in Voyant's customer systems, correcting errors as found.
- 4Investigate count mismatches and work with warehouse staff to find root causes.
- 5Prepare and execute physical inventories and audits to meet company policy.
- 6Collaborate with warehouse management to cut stock discrepancies and boost accuracy.
- 7Recommend inventory control improvements that raise accuracy and reduce waste.
- 8Support receiving and shipping so products get counted correctly at every transfer.
- 9Learn WMS updates and complete training sessions to stay current.
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 21-3 years in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- 31-3 years forklift experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 4High proficiency in inventory management principles and practices.
- 5High proficiency in WMS and basic computer applications.
- 6High proficiency in detail-oriented record keeping and organization.
- 7Analytical skills to spot and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- 8Effective communication for collaborating with staff and management.
- 9Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
