What You'll Do9
- 1Take telephone and walk-in orders accurately using the POS system, confirming details and payment.
- 2Handle cash and card transactions, make correct change, and balance your drawer at shift end.
- 3Prepare pizzas and other products by assembling ingredients, operating ovens, and using a pizza cutter.
- 4Stock ingredients from delivery to storage and line areas, rotating stock to maintain freshness.
- 5Clean equipment, work surfaces, and the store, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down counters.
- 6Monitor inventory levels and complete daily paperwork for stock counts and waste.
- 7Assist in unloading delivery trucks, moving cases up to 50 pounds with a hand truck and stacking shelves.
- 8Operate all store equipment safely, including the dough press, oven, and TDD devices.
- 9Resolve customer issues on the spot, whether it's a wrong order or a long wait, to keep satisfaction high.
Requirements9
- 116+ years old for in-store work; 18+ years for delivery shifts.
- 2Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide quickly and accurately, with or without a calculator.
- 3Verbal and written communication skills to process orders over the phone and in person.
- 4Motor coordination for fast, precise movements, including entering orders on a keyboard or touch screen.
- 5Comfort working in varying temperatures, from 36°F cooler to 90°F+ near ovens, and handling hot surfaces up to 500°F.
- 6Physical capability to stand for entire shifts, walk short distances, lift up to 50 pounds, and carry up to 30 pounds.
- 7Ability to bend, reach, and crouch frequently, including working at a pizza assembly station for long periods.
- 8Willingness to work in a fast-paced, loud environment with exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.
- 9No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided for all cooking and equipment tasks.
