What You'll Do9
- 1Welcome customers and deliver friendly professional service
- 2Assist shoppers in locating and selecting building materials
- 3Down stock merchandise by identifying empty shelf space
- 4Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time
- 5Cross‑train across store departments to improve customer experience
- 6Prepare custom merchandise such as painted blanks or cut lumber
- 7Guide customers through shopping or checkout processes
- 8Maintain accurate inventory records using retail technology
- 9Perform duties requiring prolonged standing or light lifting
Requirements7
- 16 months experience with computers and retail devices like smartphones
- 2Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills
- 3Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted or up to 75 pounds with assistance
- 4Valid driver’s license for occasional travel to meetings
- 5Certification relevant to building trades preferred
- 6Bilingual ability or interest in community outreach roles
- 7Commitment to safety and quality standards
Salary Insight
$33 - $35k per year
