Overview
Join KLA’s Surfscan Division as an Applications Engineer to partner with customers and optimize SFS tools. - 1Support, maintain, and troubleshoot SFS tools in customer environments
- 2Diagnose tool issues and implement corrective actions for optimal performance

- 4Develop applications and best known methods to address complex customer needs
- 5Create use cases and drive bug fixes to enhance tool capabilities
- 6Maintain strategic customer relationships and support sales with technical assessments
- 7Document training materials and provide technical training sessions
- 8Define future product requirements through customer and internal collaboration
- 9Perform system-level troubleshooting and generate detailed reports
- 10Ensure cleanroom compliance and participate in semiconductor device characterization
- 11Utilize analysis tools like Excel JMP Minitab Igor ImageJ for data evaluation
Requirements5
- 1MS or PhD or equivalent experience in Physics Chemistry Engineering Optics Material Science
- 2Semiconductor fabrication background or related educational experience
- 3Strong knowledge of process flows and defect identification
- 4Cleanroom experience and device characterization skills
- 5Familiarity with operating systems networking and analysis tools
