Custom Sign Production Specialist, Visual Graphics & Installation
Overview
Own the creation and installation of custom signs and graphics at client sites and in retail spaces. You will work across shop, field, and computer workstations to produce, finish, and install signs of all types at scale. Prior vinyl or machine experience is a plus and bonuses are available after orientation. This role blends hands-on fabrication with on-site execution and offers advancement into lead, supervisory, design, and sales paths.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and apply computer-cut vinyl and full-color graphics on substrates
- 2Design, operate, and maintain sign printers, cutters, and routers to produce client-ready graphics
- 3Install finished signs at customer sites, vehicles, and interiors with attention to quality and safety
- 4Prepare and finish graphics using Adobe Illustrator and other tools as needed
- 5Collaborate with a small team to meet project timelines and quality standards
- 6Assist in color and material selection to meet client branding requirements
- 7Coordinate field installations and provide on-site support during deployment
- 8Inspect completed work for accuracy and durability, addressing any issues promptly
- 9Support production and installation teams with equipment maintenance and setup
- 10Communicate project status and any risks to supervisors to ensure on-time delivery
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED and basic math and computer skills
- 2Experience with hand tools and light power equipment
- 3Ability to learn to operate computer controlled production equipment
- 4Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- 5Able to distinguish colors and willing to work outside and at customer locations
- 6Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- 7Experience using Adobe Illustrator is a plus but not required
- 8Prepare, apply, and finish graphics on predetermined substrate or media
- 9Operate and maintain various custom sign printers, cutters, and routers
- 10Strong teamwork and customer-facing skills
