Overview
You own field and shop installation projects for a 4-location Central Texas visual communications company. You lead 5+ years of hands-on expertise in vinyl graphics and commercial signage. You direct crews, mentor junior installers, and coordinate with production for large-format printing and finishing. Your work spans interior and exterior installations, including vehicle wraps and dimensional signage. You bring precision, safety, and client focus to every job, from pre-install inspections to final cleanup.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead interior and exterior installations of vinyl graphics, dimensional signage, wall murals, window films, ADA signs, and post-and-panel systems.
- 2Act as technical expert on installation methods, surface prep, adhesives, and hardware.
- 3Engage clients on-site with professionalism, ensuring job specs match expectations.
- 4Assist production with large-format printing, weeding, taping, laminating, and substrate mounting when not on field calls.
- 5Operate and maintain the installation van, tools, ladders, and specialized equipment.
- 6Direct installation crews, mentor junior installers, and collaborate with sales and project managers.
- 7Conduct pre-install surface inspections, enforce safety protocols, and resolve on-site challenges.
- 8Maintain meticulous quality control on alignment, seam wrapping, and cleanup.
Requirements10
- 15+ years hands-on professional experience installing vinyl graphics and commercial signage.
- 2Proven vehicle wrap application experience (full, partial, and fleet graphics).
- 3Valid driver's license with clean, insurable driving record.
- 4Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- 5Comfort working on ladders, scaffolding, or elevated platforms up to 12 feet.
- 6Comfort working in outdoor Central Texas weather conditions.
- 7Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, levels, and fasteners.
- 8Meticulous attention to detail and organization.
- 9Strong verbal communication and client-facing skills.
- 10Professional appearance at client job sites.
