What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with preparing patients for CT exams and explain procedures professionally
- 2Learn proper positioning techniques immobilization methods and safety procedures under supervision
- 3Observe and support contrast media administration after venipuncture certification
- 4Support technologists with image processing PACS transmission and quality assurance checks
- 5Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- 6Participate in educational activities in-service training and on-the-job instruction
- 7Ensure exam rooms are clean stocked and ready for patient procedures
- 8Provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process
- 9Complete administrative tasks paperwork and data entry as assigned
- 10Perform other related duties while learning the full scope of the role
- 11Develop specialized CT equipment operation skills
Requirements8
- 1Current ARRT(R) and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT)
- 2Obtain ARRT (CT) certification and/or applicable State CT license within required timeframe
- 3Completion of an accredited Radiology program
- 4BLS certification required
- 5Venipuncture certification preferred but obtainable within required timeframe
- 6Ability to learn and apply specialized CT equipment operation
- 7Strong interpersonal communication skills relating to patients physicians and team members
- 8Detail-oriented organized and committed to professional development
