- 8Attend mandatory educational sessions
- 9Communicate effectively in writing and speech with patients families hospitals and staff
- 10Support teamwork and adapt in dynamic high pressure environments
- 11Contribute to data entry and administrative duties
- 12Represent Boston MedFlight at public education events
- 13Travel unrestricted for missions training and operational needs
- 14Hold National Registry Paramedic and Massachusetts EMT-P licenses
- 15Complete ACLS BLS PALS and NRP certifications during orientation
- 16Obtain FP-C certification within first year of employment
- 17Provide real ID driver’s license and work authorization
- 18Work rotating shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- 19Demonstrate ability to read write speak and understand English fully
- 20Perform physical tasks such as running climbing lifting patients and carrying equipment
- 21Navigate confined spaces and varied weather conditions
- 22Pass annual agility tests and fitness assessments
- 23Clear background checks including FBI and CORI prior to hire
- 24Undergo pre employment physical at BMF location
- 25Maintain current vaccinations and undergo Fit-for-Duty testing
- 26Participate in random drug and alcohol screening
- 27Hold full-time non exempt employment status
- 28Join full-time dedicated clinical team reporting to CMO and Director of Operations Clinical

- 1National Registry Paramedic license and Massachusetts EMT-P certification
- 2Minimum five years advanced prehospital experience preferred
- 3ACLS BLS PALS certification required
- 4NRP certification completed during orientation
- 5FP-C certification obtained within one year of start date
- 6Current Real ID driver’s license with work authorization
- 7Ability to lift 175 pounds between two people from squat to stand
- 8BMI under 30 maximum weight 210 lbs
- 9No motion sickness or conditions affecting cognition or physical function
- 10Pass FBI or CORI background check
- 11Complete pre employment physical at BMF site
- 12Maintain up to date immunization records and pass annual fitness exams
- 13Availability for rotating shifts including nights weekends holidays
- 14Strong English language skills reading writing speaking comprehension
