Counter Sales Representative, HVACR & Customer Service
Overview
hvac 2+ years of HVAC industry experience preferred and a strong focus on customer service in a fast paced environment. You will own order entry quotes and counter sales transactions at our Chambers Branch, collaborating with inside and outside teams to support dealers and contractors. This role blends technical product knowledge with hands-on sales, inventory, and merchandising responsibilities to ensure customer satisfaction and accurate fulfillment. You will be part of a collaborative branch team that supports a nationwide distributor with 85 years in business making sure customers receive timely, accurate solutions.
What You'll Do7
- 1Build quotes and process orders for dealers, contractors, and service firms to drive sales and accurate billing
- 2Collaborate with inside/outside sales teams to provide timely pricing and notify on special needs price quotes
- 3Maintain stock, organize shelves, and prepare items for shipping to ensure efficient fulfillment
- 4Provide technical product guidance and substitution recommendations to customers using vendor connections
- 5Assist customers with loading merchandise, handling returns, and completing warranty paperwork to ensure smooth transactions
- 6Attend branch meetings and technical trainings to stay current on products and applications
- 7Support after-hours/weekend coverage to transact business and service customers on a rotating basis
Requirements5
- 12+ years in the HVAC industry and customer service experience in a fast paced environment
- 2Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task in a retail/warehouse setting
- 3Basic math and computer skills including MS Office
- 4Driver's license and ability to lift/move merchandise as needed
- 5Pre-employment drug screen and commitment to excellent customer service
