Overview
You own the front counter at Bosch's Houston branch, serving contractors and walk-in customers with POS precision and product expertise. You operate within a 5-person sales team and report to the Branch Manager. Your role blends high-touch customer engagement with hands-on warehouse logistics, including forklift operation and inventory restocking. What You'll Do8
- 1Greet customers at the counter and resolve purchasing needs with POS accuracy
- 2Process transactions in POS, handling cash and card payments with zero discrepancy
- 3Maintain the sales counter, ensuring inventory displays are stocked and organized
- 4Apply HVAC knowledge to recommend replacement parts and system components
- 5Handle returns and complaints using empathetic, solution-oriented communication
- 6Restock shelves and track inventory levels through daily cycle counts
- 7Support warehouse shipping and receiving, including forklift operation once certified
- 8Collaborate with the team to meet daily sales and customer satisfaction targets
Requirements8
- 12+ years of retail or customer service experience
- 2High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3HVAC knowledge preferred but not required
- 4Strong math skills for transaction accuracy
- 5Ability to stand for full shifts and lift 25 pounds
- 6Basic computer literacy and POS proficiency
- 7Demonstrated problem-solving in customer-facing situations
