What You'll Do11
- 1Advise clients on strategies and manage vendor prequalification assessments
- 2Develop project estimates and present value engineering recommendations
- 3Review and challenge vendor costs while managing estimation processes
- 4Establish reporting schedules and present cost forecasts to stakeholders
- 5Maintain commercial risk registers and host periodic team meetings
- 6Review change orders and recommend contractor entitlements
- 7Manage payment application assessments and resolve contractual disputes
- 8Benchmark performance against successful commissions
- 9Handle invoicing and post-contract audits
- 10Conduct post-contract reviews and develop training manuals
- 11Perform all duties using Bid Analysis Sheets and Cost Estimating Software
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
- 2Minimum 3-5 years cost management experience in construction
- 3RICS accreditation or pursuing certification
- 4Experience with procurement routes and value management
- 5Strong communication and analytical skills
