Overview
The Corporate Paralegal will own legal processes and support corporate governance, contract management, and compliance in a fast‑paced environment. This temporary onsite contract in San Diego offers competitive hourly rates between $45 and $65. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and experienced in handling multiple priorities.
What You'll Do11
- 1Process review code and organize legal invoices and related documentation
- 2Prepare and maintain corporate governance documents including resolutions and certificates
- 3Assist with corporate and finance transactions and general legal matters
- 4Manage contract entry tracking and reporting for the organization's contract management system
- 5Review contracts for key provisions such as term termination renewal and restrictive covenants
- 6Support litigation matters including discovery responses and subpoena coordination
- 7Maintain board minutes organizational documents and corporate structure records
- 8Prepare file and retain corporate filings and related records
- 9Support trademark administration filings renewals and coordination with IP counsel
- 10Collaborate with Finance Tax Marketing and other departments to provide legal support
- 11Execute tasks related to legal operations and compliance initiatives
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree required Paralegal Certificate preferred
- 2Minimum three years corporate paralegal experience
- 3Proficiency in corporate governance entity management and contract administration
- 4Familiarity with legal invoice processing and legal operations functions
- 5Exposure to trademark matters is a plus
- 6Experience supporting litigation is beneficial
- 7Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 8Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize competing deadlines
- 9Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- 10Cross‑functional collaboration with stakeholders throughout the organization
- 11Positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic environment
