What You'll Do11

  • 1Review Billing Repair Cards for accuracy compliance across shops and network
  • 2Ensure repair charges align with approved parameters through data analytics
  • 3Maintain timely complete lessee billing for responsible repairs
  • 4Escalate repair versus scrap determinations based on established guidelines
  • 5Drive movement of cars through shop and provide repair information post-inspection
  • 6Utilize internal resources to resolve shop repair queries
  • 7Analyze repair frequency patterns and report trends for continuous improvement
  • 8Lead remote and on-site shop audits to assess maintenance effectiveness
  • 9Participate in specialized projects focused on operational optimization
  • 10Collaborate with UTC/Procor teams to address equipment maintenance challenges
  • 11Support strategic initiatives that enhance railcar repair processes

Requirements10

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 2Bachelor’s degree or HS Diploma with enhanced work experience
  • 3Minimum 5 years’ relevant railroad industry experience
  • 4Familiarity with railcar repair practices and AAR Rules
  • 5Knowledge of FRA Regulations and railcar nomenclature
  • 6Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • 7Self-starter with excellent written verbal communication skills
  • 8Ability to travel up to 10 percent of work time
  • 9Experience with UTC/Procor systems and industrial maintenance platforms
  • 10Commitment to safety compliance and regulatory standards
