What You'll Do10
- 1Inspect locomotives before operation including fuel sand water and supplies
- 2Operate locomotive controls such as throttle and air brakes
- 3Interpret train orders signals and safety rules
- 4Assist with switching placement and movement of railcars
- 5Control switches derails gates and trackside equipment
- 6Couple and uncouple railcars while managing air hoses and wheel chocks
- 7Apply and release hand brakes to secure equipment
- 8Monitor track conditions and identify hazards
- 9Train new employees and perform routine lubrication and basic maintenance
- 10Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Requirements8
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading technical projects
- 3High school diploma or equivalent
- 4Ability to pass a physical drug screen and background check
- 5Physically demanding work in outdoor environments
- 6Strong communication and teamwork skills
- 7Reliable transportation
- 8Military experience preferred
