The Corporate EHS & Risk Manager leads environmental health safety and risk initiatives across a multi-site organization. This field‑oriented leadership role develops safety programs, reduces injuries and compliance risks, and builds a consistent safety culture. The ideal candidate works directly with operational leaders and field teams, uses data to drive improvements, and holds leaders accountable for measurable outcomes.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Design and implement practical safety policies and training programs for enterprise‑wide EHS risk management
  • 2Maintain an enterprise EHS risk register and prioritize high‑frequency high‑severity exposures
  • 3Utilize fleet telematics and inspection data to identify risk areas and partner with operations to improve driver behavior and vehicle readiness
  • 4Lead injury prevention investigations, develop corrective‑action plans, and verify effectiveness
  • 5Establish field safety observation programs, conduct training, and coach employees and managers
  • 6Monitor safety metrics, generate branch‑level scorecards, and report progress to leadership
  • 7Coordinate with HR, medical providers, insurers, and external partners to resolve incidents and ensure compliance
  • 8Ensure environmental compliance for spills, waste, storage, and documentation while preparing audit‑ready records
  • 9Travel to branches and jobsites to assess safety practices and address emerging risks
  • 10Influence operational leaders without direct authority to increase safety ownership and accountability
  • 11Prepare concise executive reports highlighting exposures, trends, and measurable outcomes

Requirements11

  • 15+ years building EHS programs with Spark and Airflow
  • 23-5 seasons leading safety initiatives in multi‑site environments
  • 3Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • 4CPC Card preferred certification
  • 5Strong analytical skills to translate safety data into actionable improvements
  • 6Experience with OSHA, DOT/FMCSA regulations and incident investigation
  • 7Proven ability to influence without direct authority and manage cross‑functional teams
  • 8Knowledge of fleet telematics platforms such as Samsara
  • 9Understanding of return‑to‑work processes and workers’ compensation management
  • 10Familiarity with insurance carrier collaboration and contractor prequalification
  • 11Commitment to maintaining a consistent safety culture across all locations
