Overview
Directly supervise food-service associates in a full-time role at Linklaters in New York. Lead training, scheduling, performance management, and compliance with HACCP and kitchen standards. Partner with management to minimize waste, ensure quality, and maintain safety. This role blends hands-on cooking supervision with team development and process improvement.
What You'll Do10
- 1Train employees and plan, assign and direct work to achieve quality standards
- 2Advise management on purchasing requirements to minimize waste and prevent shortages
- 3Ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control using approved recipes
- 4Operate and clean equipment following department procedures after each use
- 5Label, store and rotate food items to minimize spoilage
- 6Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and quality
- 7Operate food-service equipment safely and according to policies
- 8Assist in serving meals and collect customer feedback during meal periods
- 9Address complaints and resolve problems with a focus on customer satisfaction
- 10Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements10
- 1Two years of cooking and supervisory experience
- 2Ability to work 6:30 am to 3:00 pm schedule
- 3Experience in a food-service environment with adherence to safety policies
- 4Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and proper food handling
- 5Strong communication and leadership skills
- 6Capable of training and directing staff and managing daily operations
- 7Comfort with physical tasks and standing for long periods
- 8Ability to work onsite at 1290 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY
- 9Commitment to complying with company policies and local regulations
- 10Eligible to work full-time in the United States
