What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and troubleshoot PLC based automation systems for industrial applications and improve reliability.
  • 2Design machine sequences and document operational logic for programming commissioning and maintenance.
  • 3Program modify PLC logic to support machine and robotic applications with safe operation.
  • 4Configure develop and support HMI applications for intuitive operator interfaces and diagnostics.
  • 5Collaborate with mechanical designers and electrical engineers to understand constraints and requirements.
  • 6Assist commissioning testing debugging and validation of automated machinery and control systems.
  • 7Troubleshoot controls electrical robotic and automation issues to minimize downtime.
  • 8Support continuous improvement of controls standards programming practices and documentation.
  • 9Participate in customer demonstrations factory acceptance tests FATs and system startup activities.
  • 10Work with sensors actuators and industrial control hardware to integrate and optimize system performance.

Requirements10

  • 13–7+ years of controls engineering experience
  • 2Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC platforms
  • 3Experience with Omron PLC platforms
  • 4Industrial robotics experience including cobots and SCARA robots
  • 5Familiarity with brands such as Fanuc ABB Yaskawa Universal Robots
  • 6Experience with Allen-Bradley HMI development
  • 7Servo drive programming and integration experience
  • 8Machine commissioning and startup experience in industrial environments
  • 9Industrial networking experience for integrating and supporting connected automation systems
  • 10C# programming experience for custom tools utilities or interfaces
