What You'll Do11
- 1Support VP of Finance with general accounting cost accounting and financial reporting activities
- 2Assist with month-end close including journal entries reconciliations and financial statements
- 3Prepare supporting schedules and analysis for executive and Board-level reporting
- 4Maintain and improve standard costing systems analyzing cost variances and inventory job costing results
- 5Provide cost data and financial analysis for pricing quoting and operational planning
- 6Support annual external audits maintaining strong internal controls and GAAP compliance
- 7Develop and update cash flow forecasts providing financial insights for capital investments
- 8Review payroll processing for accuracy and compliance in coordination with HR and external providers
- 9Support ERP system usage and enhancements such as Global Shop and JobBOSS
- 10Manage and provide daily oversight to other accounting team members
- 11Partner with operations leadership to align financial processes with production goals
Requirements10
- 1CPA preferred
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 35–8+ years of progressive accounting finance experience manufacturing environment preferred
- 4Experience with cost accounting standard costing job costing and inventory accounting
- 5Hands-on experience with ERP systems Global Shop and JobBOSS
- 6Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and multi-site consolidations
- 7Experience supporting audits and process improvements
- 8Strong analytical capabilities communication skills and attention to detail
- 9Ability to work in a fast-paced hands-on aerospace machining environment
- 10Occasional travel to Maryland manufacturing facility
