The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator leads daily shipping and receiving operations at Primus Aerospace ensuring efficient material flow while maintaining quality and accuracy. This hands-on role focuses on execution coordination and organized material movement across the dock.
What You'll Do11
- 1Support daily shipping and receiving operations
- 2Receive inspect and verify incoming material against purchase orders and packing slips
- 3Process incoming material in ERP systems
- 4Package label and prepare outgoing shipments per customer and quality requirements
- 5Assist in creating shipping documentation such as packing lists and bills of lading
- 6Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries
- 7Communicate with internal teams regarding material status
- 8Maintain organized inventory locations for raw material work in progress and finished goods
- 9Support end-of-month shipping volume and general dock activity
- 10Follow company procedures for traceability and documentation
- 11Maintain a clean and organized shipping receiving area
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 213 years of shipping receiving or warehouse experience preferred
- 3Basic ERP or inventory system experience required
- 4Strong attention to detail
- 5Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 6Good communication skills
- 7Forklift experience required
- 8Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- 9Manufacturing or aerospace experience preferred
- 10Familiarity with quality systems such as AS9100 or ISO
- 11Basic understanding of inventory or material tracking
