Lead finance and accounting for a growing Nashville based organization reporting directly to the Owner. Guide financial strategy while managing daily operations across two entities. Influence business decisions and shape finance team structure.
What You'll Do10
- 1Direct accounting activities for two related entities ensuring accurate records timely close processes and dependable financial reporting
- 2Partner with ownership and leadership to develop annual financial plans track results against budget and highlight meaningful trends
- 3Present clear updates on financial performance including variances cash position and key operating metrics supporting informed decision making
- 4Supervise payroll review procedures maintain controls promoting accuracy consistency and compliance
- 5Provide leadership over payables and receivables coordinate with internal team members and external accounting partners
- 6Strengthen approval workflows internal controls and fraud prevention measures protecting assets and improving accountability
- 7Oversee cash management activities such as customer collections banking transactions credit card activity and overall liquidity monitoring
- 8Identify and implement improvements to reporting workflows and financial processes to increase efficiency and support growth
- 9Collaborate with outsourced bookkeeping and accounting resources to ensure reliable month end and year end reporting reconciliations and data integrity
- 10Engage with operational teams engage with field and across business to understand performance drivers uncover improvement opportunities and assess future accounting staffing needs
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Finance or related discipline
- 3Progressive experience in accounting leadership with strong controllership knowledge and practical oversight of core finance functions
- 4Demonstrated background in budgeting financial reporting payroll review internal controls and day to day accounting operations
- 5Ability to work effectively with owners executives or senior leaders providing financial guidance that supports business objectives
- 6Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance best practices applying them in a growing organization
- 7Track record of improving processes resolving inefficiencies and building more effective financial workflows
- 8Strong communication skills turning financial information into clear actionable insights for non financial stakeholders
- 9Experience in a multi entity recurring revenue or service based business environment preferred
Salary Insight
$125 - $140k per year
