What You'll Do19
- 1Prepare and transmit monthly financial statements aligned with dealership guidelines
- 2Manage month-end close process and objectives
- 3Interpret and communicate financial statement results regularly
- 4Establish and maintain strong internal control structures
- 5Supervise daily cash account supervision
- 6Account for and verify asset inventories including vehicle parts IT assets
- 7Review general ledger reconciliation for cash accounts payable receivable floor plan
- 8Implement updated accounting policies and procedures
- 9Control documentation including time records vehicle deals commission vouchers
- 10Maintain vehicle registration warranty and incentive programs
- 11Ensure compliance with governmental finance regulations filing property tax sales tax forms
- 12Follow corporate system for record retention and archival
- 13Schedule and prepare general ledger accounts for parts inventory audits
- 14Recruit supervise and develop dealership office personnel
- 15Responsible for forecasting and budgeting processes
- 16Provide detailed financial reports to department managers
- 17Monitor data integrity and improve information reporting
- 18Liaise with managers to review business matters increase profitability
- 19Lead Business Office team through performance evaluations and recognition

- 1Franchise retail automotive dealership Controller experience minimum 5 years with 200+ vehicle sales monthly processing
- 2Superior analytical ability and critical problem solving skills
- 3Excellent collaborative communication teamwork leadership organizational skills
- 4Proficiency in DMS Software and Microsoft Office applications
- 5Strong leadership capabilities ability to pivot in fast-paced environment
- 6Bachelor's degree CPA or equivalent preferred
- 73 years experience as Automotive Controller required
- 8Ability to commute from Nashville TN 37228
- 9Relocation available to Nashville TN 37228 before starting work
- 10Experience with DMS Software
