Consumer Relationship Officer Northwest Federal Credit Union
Overview
The Consumer Relationship Officer (CRO) builds relationships with existing members through outbound phone calls to educate them about credit union offerings. The CRO completes loan applications gathers documentation reviews loan decisions and coordinates document delivery and disbursement. This sales role includes base salary plus monthly incentives tied to new loan production and ancillary sales. Performance drives monthly targets and referral generation.
What You'll Do11
- 1Outbound calling to 350+ members each month to educate on available credit union products and services
- 2Recognizes and pursues cross selling opportunities on credit union products and services
- 3Creates future touch points and completes timely follow up for all leads
- 4Completes loan applications and submits to the Consumer Lending Underwriting Team for loan decisions
- 5Coordinates loan disbursement with the Consumer Lending Processing Team
- 6Meets monthly loan production targets and closed referral goals as directed by management
- 7Remains aware of and adheres to NWFCU policies and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act
- 8Works Monday Friday 8300 AM – 530 PM with evenings and Saturdays as needed
- 9Adheres to Consumer Lending regulations compliance and credit union BSA requirements
- 10Has prior experience in a fast paced detailed oriented role meeting sales goals
- 11Collaborates effectively within a team to achieve shared objectives
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Minimum 2 years experience as a consumer loan officer consumer loan processor or equivalent
- 3Ability to read and decipher Equifax credit reports
- 4Experience working in a high paced detailed oriented role with a record of meeting sales goals
- 5Ability to use standard office equipment and systems
- 6Ability to review and analyze data and documentation
- 7Effective oral and written communication skills
- 8Self driven independent worker who thrives in collaborative environment
