Overview
You will own a portfolio of consumer and small business relationships across the Northwest Valley District, acquiring, managing, and growing deposit, credit, and investment balances. You will lead discovery conversations to uncover financial goals, then deliver tailored banking and credit strategies that strengthen loyalty and drive balanced growth. Collaborating with specialists in Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking, you will coordinate warm introductions and close qualified opportunities. This role stands out with a clear path to licensing: you start as a Relationship Banker LP, earn your FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (and SIE if new), and transition to a fully licensed Relationship Banker. What You'll Do6
- 1Acquire and manage a portfolio of consumer and business relationships, proactively identifying growth opportunities through outreach and lobby engagement.
- 2Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals, then recommend deposit, credit, and investment solutions that fit their needs.
- 3Partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking teams to deliver integrated solutions through warm introductions and clear follow-through.
- 4Champion digital adoption by educating customers on mobile banking and self-service tools, improving satisfaction and engagement.
- 5Resolve account inquiries and service requests within authorized limits, documenting actions and setting follow-up plans.
- 6Demonstrate risk excellence by following policies, escalating issues timely, and maintaining accurate records to support strong control outcomes.
Requirements10
- 12+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, military, or education.
- 21+ year assessing and meeting customer needs or resolving issues, demonstrated through work or military experience.
- 31+ year building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners.
- 4Proven ability to source, acquire, and deepen relationships through proactive outreach and internal partnership.
- 5Knowledge of book of business management, including planning conversations and follow-through for retention and growth.
- 6Experience recommending products and services for consumer and business customers.
- 7Demonstrated communication skills: clear, confident, and empathetic listening to build trust.
- 81+ year financial services experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments.
- 9Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or equivalents) to qualify for immediate registration.
- 10State insurance license(s) and ability to work a schedule including most Saturdays.
