Overview
Ardurra Group seeks a Construction Observer NICET IV to lead project record keeping and daily inspection reporting in Cherry Hill Morganville Secaucus NJ. This multi-disciplinary team member will supervise field inspections coordinate with engineers and support contract documentation across highway projects.
What You'll Do9
- 1Act as Lead Inspector conducting construction supervision and field inspections aligned with contract documents independently or within teams
- 2Collaborate with engineers professionals and authorities on federal state regional and local improvement projects
- 3Inform clients about upcoming work and public impacts while minimizing community disruptions
- 4Maintain detailed project records including daily quantities and prepare daily reports detailing labor trades equipment and pay quantities
- 5Support Project Manager with submissions and requests for information ensuring appropriate engineering reviews
- 6Log observations and daily activities while providing client updates on progress
- 7Review payment applications with contractor and recommend progress payments
- 8Prepare final punch list and conduct comprehensive project closeout reviews
- 9Perform additional duties as required by project and business needs
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent with NICET IV Highway Construction certification
- 25+ years experience in heavy highway construction projects
- 3Expertise with ACI-Concrete Field Testing and experience using Word Excel
- 4Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- 5Ability to work effectively in group and individual settings
