Construction Laborer, Commercial & School Project Skills in Baltimore
Overview
The role owns on site labor tasks for a commercial school project at scale, coordinating with site teams in Baltimore. You will support material handling, debris removal, and general upkeep to maintain a safe work environment. This position emphasizes reliability, physical endurance, and a willingness to work early mornings and weekends when required. You will collaborate with trades to move HVAC, sheet metal, plumbing, and pipe materials across floors and assist with unloading trucks.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and move construction materials and debris to support daily site progress
- 2Unload trucks and haul HVAC, sheet metal, plumbing, and pipe materials between floors
- 3Unbox and unpack construction materials for trades and crews
- 4Clean and maintain construction areas to keep work zones safe and organized
- 5Assist with general site upkeep and housekeeping during shifts
- 6Drive and transport materials as needed with reliable transportation
- 7Work early morning shifts and occasional weekends as required
- 8Work at heights, bend, stand, and maneuver in confined spaces in all weather conditions
- 9Lift up to 20+ lbs and support teams during material handling
- 10Support school project site requirements and safety standards with attention to detail
Requirements10
- 13+ years in commercial construction labor
- 2Experience in school project environments preferred
- 3Ability to lift 20+ lbs and perform physical tasks
- 4Comfort with heights, bending, standing, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions
- 5Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- 6Must pass background and drug screen
- 7Must reside in Baltimore, MD for 2-3 month assignment
- 8Availability for early morning shifts and occasional weekends
- 9Must be able to unload trucks and move heavy materials
- 10Good teamwork and communication skills
