Construction Driver
Overview
Canyon State Electric seeks a dependable Driver to support purchasing department with daily pickups and deliveries. On-site position with company vehicle.
What You'll Do11
- 1Pick up will-call and stock orders from vendors and suppliers on a daily route
- 2Transfer materials tools and equipment from jobsite to jobsite as project needs shift
- 3Maintain accountability of all tools and equipment per CSE policy including check-out/check-in and periodic inventory
- 4Deliver materials and supplies to jobsites the warehouse and other designated locations on schedule
- 5Verify order accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips before leaving the vendor or jobsite
- 6Return signed packing slips receipts transfer forms and delivery confirmations to purchasing promptly
- 7Flag shortages damaged goods back orders and substitutions to purchasing team immediately
- 8Load and unload vehicles safely securing loads properly for transport
- 9Assist with receiving staging labeling and general warehouse organization between runs
- 10Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep vehicle clean fueled and service current
- 11Coordinate route changes jobsite-to-jobsite transfers and rush requests with purchasing throughout the day
Requirements10
- 12+ years of driving experience in a delivery courier warehouse or materials role
- 2Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record meeting company insurance requirements
- 3Familiarity with purchase orders packing slips and material transfer documentation
- 4Comfortable with Microsoft 365 basics Outlook Teams and simple mobile data entry
- 5Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet throughout the day
- 6Comfortable working in and around active jobsites following site safety requirements
- 7Strong sense of urgency accuracy with paperwork and clear communication with vendors field crews and office staff
- 8Good local-area navigation skills and reliable on-time attendance
- 9Forklift certification DOT experience or construction industrial materials knowledge a plus
- 10High school diploma or equivalent
