Seeking skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead surgical support for pediatric and adult congenital cardiac cases. This locum position requires immediate availability in Tampa, FL with flexible shift scheduling. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality care while collaborating with specialized surgical teams.
What You'll Do9
- 1Provide surgical assistance during procedures with pediatric and adult congenital cardiac surgeons
- 2Manage postoperative care in ICU and various clinical settings
- 3Act as primary liaison between patients and surgical teams
- 4Deliver comprehensive management of congenital cardiac conditions
- 5Participate in on-call duties approximately fifteen days monthly
- 6Maintain accurate documentation within Cerner electronic health records
- 7Implement evidence-based protocols for complex cardiac surgeries
- 8Coordinate multidisciplinary care plans with cardiothoracic specialists
- 9Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment approaches
Requirements9
- 1Florida license or Universal License (IMLC) with board certification requirement
- 2Minimum three years specialized experience in pediatric cardiac surgery
- 3ACLS and PALS certifications current
- 4RNFA certification preferred for advanced practice roles
- 5Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced clinical environments
- 6Strong communication skills for effective patient and provider collaboration
- 7Experience with Cerner EMR systems demonstrated through previous employment
- 8Ability to meet travel demands for Tampa-based assignments
- 9Commitment to maintaining highest standards of patient safety and care quality
