Overview
Own cardiovascular patient care for the structural heart team at Texas Health Physicians Group in Dallas. 5+ years of acute care experience with board certification in adult care. Work alongside board certified cardiologists delivering innovative treatments for cardiovascular disease. Provide pre- and post-op consultation and coordinate diagnostic tests including nuclear stress tests and echocardiograms. Multidimensional approach to cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies.
What You'll Do8
- 1Assess patient needs and establish individualized care plans for cardiovascular patients.
- 2Perform pre- and post-operative consultations and coordinate care for structural heart procedures.
- 3Order and interpret nuclear stress tests, echocardiograms, and other diagnostics on site.
- 4Collaborate with interventional and non-interventional cardiologists to develop treatment strategies.
- 5Document patient encounters in the Electronic Medical Records system (EMR).
- 6Manage both hospital and clinic-based patient care, ensuring continuity across settings.
- 7Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review complex cardiovascular cases.
- 8Deliver patient education on cardiac health, medications, and recovery protocols.
Requirements6
- 11-3 years of cardiology experience required.
- 2Active Texas RN license and Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.
- 3Acute Care or Adult Care board certification and experience.
- 4Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) program.
- 5Willingness to meet CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.
- 6Full time availability (40 hours per week) and capacity to work in both hospital and clinic settings.
