Overview
Lead ownership of enterprise IT infrastructure configuration management at GDIT. Own technical baselines and documentation across global operations. Ensure accurate configuration tracking and compliance for national defense missions.
What You'll Do7
- 1Maintain configuration baselines for EII systems, services, diagrams, SOPs, and implementation documentation
- 2Track and manage configuration changes from engineering operations and tech refresh activities
- 3Maintain inventory and cataloging of EII systems for configuration management and risk oversight
- 4Manage knowledge management repository linking configuration items to operational systems
- 5Support teams with controlled documentation for test reports sustainment plans and deployment cut sheets
- 6Ensure alignment between configuration assets and approved baselines across engineering environments
- 7Drive continuous improvement of configuration governance processes through documentation standards
Requirements8
- 1Active TS/SCI clearance with favorable polygraph verification
- 2Bachelor's degree or 10+ years IT experience equivalent
- 33+ years configuration management experience in DoW IC or engineering
- 4Proficiency with version-controlled documentation platforms SharePoint KM portals
- 5Familiarity with ITIL change control processes and configuration governance frameworks
- 6US citizenship required for national security clearance positions
- 7Experience with Service Central configuration management tools
- 8Strong understanding of DoD information assurance protocols
