What You'll Do11

  • 1Review subcontractor certified payroll records for compliance with prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits
  • 2Audit subcontractor documentation including fringe benefit statements and apprenticeship records
  • 3Prepare and submit certified payroll and compliance documents to project owners and agencies
  • 4Maintain accurate payroll and compliance records for self-performed work
  • 5Monitor subcontractor compliance and resolve discrepancies directly with contractors
  • 6Support compliance audits and coordinate with state agencies and monitoring groups
  • 7Partner with project accountants and engineers to resolve compliance issues
  • 8Track multiple project requirements and communicate outstanding issues to stakeholders
  • 9Prepare apprenticeship workforce and training reports
  • 10Track project deadlines and maintain strong organizational skills
  • 11Collaborate with internal teams to prevent payment delays

Requirements10

  • 1Up to three years experience in certified payroll or labor compliance
  • 2Familiarity with public works construction and prevailing wage regulations
  • 3Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
  • 4Strong attention to detail and record review accuracy
  • 5Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • 6Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • 7Experience with LCPtracker or Elation Systems
  • 8Knowledge of California Department of Industrial Relations requirements
  • 9Understanding of Davis-Bacon federal standards
  • 10Experience with apprenticeship ratios and fringe benefits
