Overview

Ford seeks an experienced Commodity Calibration Supervisor to lead calibration development for the 2.5L xHEV powertrain control system. What You'll Do11

  • 1Supervise and mentor a team of calibration engineers responsible for 2.5L xHEV commodity calibration development
  • 2Own the commodity calibration strategy defining a reusable calibration base across multiple vehicle programs
  • 3Drive calibration development validation and sign-off aligned with program timing and milestones
  • 4Ensure calibrations meet performance drivability fuel economy emissions NVH and OBD requirements
  • 5Collaborate with Core Systems Engineering Software Controls and Vehicle Program teams to resolve technical issues
  • 6Lead root cause investigations for calibration related warranty quality and field issues
  • 7Support cost complexity and part-count reduction through shared calibration strategies
  • 8Manage team resource planning workload balancing performance reviews and career development
  • 9Present calibration status risk assessments and technical reviews to senior leadership
  • 10Maintain compliance with Ford engineering standards and global regulatory requirements
  • 11Create efficiencies and tools to transform calibration deliverables

Requirements10

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark Airflow
  • 23-5 seasons leading global calibration initiatives
  • 3Bachelor`s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 4Master`s degree in engineering preferred
  • 5Strong knowledge of engine control hybrid control transmission calibration emissions optimization
  • 6Familiarity with OBD-II EPA CARB emissions regulations
  • 7Experience with calibration tools such as ATI Vision INCA CalTerm MATLAB Simulink
  • 8Direct experience with Ford 2.5L DuratecAtkinson-cycle hybrid engine family
  • 9Cross-functional leadership managing multiple concurrent vehicle program timelines
  • 10Excellent communication leadership and stakeholder management skills
