What You'll Do14

  • 1Lead a team of five dyno and simulation engineers fostering accountability and innovation
  • 2Develop and retain talent while driving continuous improvement
  • 3Act as technical thought leader coaching real‑time simulation dyno operations and hardware software integration
  • 4Plan workforce aligned to future propulsion and simulation needs
  • 5Transfer developed technology to production vehicle development teams
  • 6Own architecture deployment and performance of integrated systems linking power train dynamometers driver‑in‑the‑loop simulators and full‑vehicle chassis dynamometers
  • 7Define interface standards signal architecture latency and synchronization requirements
  • 8Serve as single‑point integrator across race program propulsion systems influencing strategy via faster calibration improved simulation fidelity and reduced track testing
  • 9Drive cross‑functional alignment on model correlation and validation standards
  • 10Oversee integration of vehicle dynamics models powertrain energy system models and propulsion controls strategies
  • 11Ensure models are real‑time capable correlated to hardware and track data and advance model based development digital twin capabilities
  • 12Define and execute validation strategies for PIL DiL ViL enabling rapid iteration of calibration energy management and drivability
  • 13Maintain safety compliance for high voltage electrified systems high speed rotating machinery and integrated dyno environments
  • 14Implement fault detection hardware software safeguards and emergency response protocols to drive uptime reliability and operational efficiency

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Electrical or Automotive Engineering with 10–15+ years experience in propulsion simulation or vehicle systems
  • 2Proven leadership leading complex technical programs directly or technically
  • 3Demonstrated experience in powertrain dynamometer testing ICE hybrid EV systems
  • 4Hands‑on experience with real time platforms dSPACE NI Speedgoat and modeling tools Simulink GT‑SUITE Amesim CarSim IPG
  • 5Strong understanding of system integration challenges latency real time execution constraints communication protocols CAN Ethernet
  • 6Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business value lead small technical teams influence without direct authority and deliver in ambiguous fast paced settings
  • 7Advanced integration experience across driver in the loop full vehicle chassis dynamometers co simulation frameworks FMI FMU
