Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC Technician, Commercial Service & Support
Overview
A full-time role owning field service for heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems across the South Bay. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair walk-in coolers, ice machines, and rooftop units for commercial clients. You’ll communicate with customers, document work and parts, and ensure accurate billing. You’ll work within a family-owned company that values quality, relationships, and growth.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and service commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple sites in the South Bay to meet client needs
- 2Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and perform safe, compliant repairs on walk-in coolers, ice machines, and rooftop units
- 3Document work and parts usage to enable accurate invoicing and cost-tracking
- 4Maintain organized, well-stocked service vehicle and tools to support efficient repairs and consistent client service
- 5Communicate with customers about needs and status, delivering professional service and fostering long-term relationships
Requirements9
- 1EPA universal certification
- 23+ years of commercial HVAC/R field service experience
- 3Excellent electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- 4Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions
- 5Strong English communication and customer service skills
- 6Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- 7Experience with ServiceTitan or similar CRM for job records, estimates, and invoicing is a plus
- 8Must pass background check and drug screening test
- 9Must be able to read schematics and interpret electrical diagrams
