Overview

Own field service for commercial HVAC maintenance and repairs across the greater San Diego area, servicing chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and controls. Lead diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repair efforts for complex systems in collaboration with a growing service team. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls issues, document service activities, and maintain strong customer relationships. This role emphasizes hands-on work, safety, and ongoing technical development in a stable, year-round environment.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Build and perform commercial HVAC service, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, and package units
  • 2Diagnose mechanical electrical refrigeration and controls related issues and implement effective resolutions
  • 3Respond to service calls and independently identify and resolve equipment problems within customer sites
  • 4Complete service documentation and clearly communicate repair recommendations to customers and internal teams
  • 5Maintain strong relationships with commercial customers and adhere to safety procedures and industry standards

Requirements6

  • 1Commercial HVAC service experience strong troubleshooting ability
  • 2Hands-on experience with chillers and larger commercial HVAC equipment
  • 3Experience with boilers cooling towers pumps and hydronic systems preferred
  • 4Strong electrical controls and VFD troubleshooting skills
  • 5EPA 608 certification required
  • 6Able to work independently in a field service environment
