Overview

Lead Commercial HVAC Service Technician owning preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across built-up systems, package units, boilers, chillers, and control systems in North Denver. Reporting to the Service Supervisor and Service Manager, you'll mentor junior techs, coordinate service projects, and ensure safety and operational standards. What You'll Do8

  • 1Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment including built-up systems, package units, boilers, chillers, and control systems, delivering first-visit resolution and system reliability in the first 90 days.
  • 2Perform routine preventive maintenance on diverse HVAC systems, following troubleshooting guides and OEM specs to reduce callbacks and extend equipment life.
  • 3Communicate clearly with customers, explaining issues and solutions in accessible terms and securing signed service reports.
  • 4Mentor junior technicians in person and over the phone, sharing diagnostic techniques and field knowledge.
  • 5Assist in coordinating and managing ongoing service projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • 6Complete accurate daily service reports and obtain customer signatures after each job.
  • 7Stay current with technical knowledge through ongoing training and self-study, including EPA regulations and evolving control system technologies.
  • 8Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and adhere to scheduled maintenance to ensure readiness on every call.

Requirements10

  • 17+ years commercial HVAC experience, including boilers, chillers, and control systems.
  • 2Universal EPA Certification required.
  • 3Proven expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems.
  • 4Strong knowledge of pneumatic and digital controls.
  • 5Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
  • 6Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • 7Ability to lift 70 lbs.
  • 8High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or degree preferred.
  • 9Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
  • 10Team-oriented with a desire to grow and support others.
