Overview
Commercial Lines Account Manager at Mason-McBride Insurance leads servicing for a portfolio of small to mid-sized commercial accounts at a regional agency. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage a book of small to mid-sized commercial accounts ensuring exceptional service throughout the client lifecycle
- 2Respond to client inquiries policy changes cancellations and coverage requests while meeting established service standards
- 3Process new business renewals endorsements cancellations binders certificates of insurance invoices and other policy documentation
- 4Prepare and deliver Evidence of Insurance requests and Certificates of Insurance accurately and efficiently
- 5Generate insurance quotes and collaborate with producers to deliver competitive coverage solutions
- 6Review and process customer policy change requests ensuring underwriting and carrier guidelines are met
- 7Obtain and track all required trailing documents and outstanding client information
- 8Document all client interactions and account activity accurately within the agency management system
- 9Verify and update client contact information during every customer interaction
- 10Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming claims providing guidance and coordinating follow-up as needed
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2Active Michigan Property and Casualty License required
- 3Minimum of 3 years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience servicing a small to mid-sized book of business with account premiums ranging from $2,500 to $50,000
- 4Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages underwriting principles and agency workflows
- 5Knowledge of insurance rating platforms and carrier portals
- 6Experience with multi-state Workers' Compensation policies and class code assignments a plus
- 7Familiarity with Surplus Lines placements and Lloyd’s insurance market preferred
- 8Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- 9Experience with agency management systems preferably Applied Epic or AMS360
- 10Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service focus
