You will own a portfolio of at-risk auto loan accounts for a specialized financial services firm, negotiating payment plans and managing sensitive cases from first contact to resolution. You’ll work in a small, close-knit team in Irving, TX, with a focus on bankruptcy and asset recovery. This role demands firm negotiation matched with professional empathy, as you’ll guide customers through complex financial situations. What You'll Do7

  • 1Manage a queue of auto loan accounts, making outbound calls to customers and documenting all activity in CRM systems.
  • 2Negotiate payment arrangements with customers, setting firm deadlines and follow-up schedules to maximize recoveries.
  • 3Conduct fact-finding calls to locate collateral and perform skip-tracing using Skip Tracing Tools and public records.
  • 4Ensure full compliance with FDCPA and TCPA regulations, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive account data.
  • 5Work bankruptcy and deceased/probate accounts, applying specialized knowledge of Bankruptcy Codes and legal processes.
  • 6Collaborate with team members to share best practices and support special projects as assigned.
  • 7Deliver a positive customer experience even during difficult conversations, balancing empathy with assertiveness.

Requirements8

  • 12+ years of collections experience, preferably in auto loans or financial services.
  • 2Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • 3Prior experience with bankruptcy accounts is highly preferred.
  • 4Strong negotiation and active listening skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations.
  • 5High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 6Proficient in MS Office and comfortable learning new systems.
  • 7Must pass background check, drug screen, and credit check.
  • 8Ability to work 100% onsite in Irving, TX.
