CNC Swiss Machinist II, Weekend Shift & Advanced Machining Technologies
Overview
Own and operate CNC Swiss equipment across multiple models including Citizen L12 L20 L32 Tsugami S206-II Traub TNL 20 and Star SD26-E for Aerospace Medical Device Automotive and other manufacturing customers. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and optimize setups for in process inspection verifications and save procedures with minimal supervision CNC Swiss Fanuc controls
- 2Design and assemble work holding fixtures and tooling to achieve required tolerances and production goals GD&T CMM inspection
- 3Operate forklift safely and maintain clean organized work area while complying with quality and safety policies ERP MS Office
- 4Program machines both on and offline and edit retain programs following P&F procedures CNC L12 L20
- 5Review setup sheets for Level I II machinists and help develop process documentation to meet QMS requirements 5+ years machining
- 6Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and quality tooling feed speeds
- 7Provide SME support to Sales Engineering and Quality teams and mentor Level I II machinists training leadership
- 8Perform GD&T inspections and nonconforming product segregation and reporting visual inspection gaging
- 9Support prototype production and complex product manufacturing with minimal documentation quality process documentation
- 10Maintain and improve tooling selection and process documentation to meet customer specifications QMS
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma required
- 25 to 10 years of manufacturing machining experience
- 3Proficiency with GD&T and CMM interpretation
- 4Experience operating CNC Swiss equipment including Citizen L12 L20 L32 Tsugami S206-II Star SD26-E
- 5Ability to read and follow job travelers and manufacturing documentation
- 6Strong problem solving and communication skills both verbal and written
- 7Ability to work weekend shift (Fri Sun 3:00 am 3:00 pm) with on site compensation and benefits
- 8Proven track record of maintaining clean organized work area and adherence to safety policies
