Comlux America seeks a skilled CNC Operator to produce high-quality aircraft components for VIP jet completions. The role involves operating CNC machinery independently and maintaining production efficiency while adhering to strict engineering and safety standards.
What You'll Do11
- 1Operate CNC machines using approved programs to manufacture aircraft parts
- 2Load and unload materials while ensuring proper work holding and machine setup
- 3Perform repeat setups including fixtures tooling and work offsets
- 4Monitor machine operation to maintain continuous run time and production efficiency
- 5Conduct in-process inspections and verify dimensional accuracy with measurement tools
- 6Identify quality issues and escalate problems to leadership immediately
- 7Make minor machine adjustments such as offset corrections
- 8Verify finished parts meet engineering specifications and customer expectations
- 9Maintain accurate documentation and follow company procedures
- 10Safely operate shop equipment and hand tools
- 11Develop understanding of company processes IOPs and FAA requirements
Requirements11
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Technical school or vocational machining training preferred
- 31-3 years CNC machining or operating experience in manufacturing
- 4Understanding of machining processes tooling offsets and inspection techniques
- 5Ability to operate established CNC programs independently
- 6Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- 7Proficiency with measuring instruments like calipers micrometers and gauges
- 8Willingness to learn FAA requirements RSQM procedures and quality standards
- 9Ability to communicate assertively professionally and tactfully
- 10Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
- 11Experience with computers and software used by Comlux
